Christmas fundraising success

We are delighted to announce that our Christmas concerts raised over £1,500 for our chosen charities. 

Thank you to everyone who came along to support us and enjoyed our 2018 Christmas concerts. It was a first for the choir trialling two concerts on the same day, afternoon and evening, so that we could make sure everyone who wanted to come was able to get a ticket. 

It also allowed us to invite two children's choirs to sing with us and both the Hertfordshire Youth Choir and Hartsfield School Choir were fantastic and thoroughly enjoyed by all - a big thanks to both choirs for sounding wonderful and working so hard, both the children and all the staff involved. 

We are delighted that we were able to raise such a fantastic amount of money which was split between our two chosen charities. Both Foodshed and St Hugh and St John are worthy causes and we were extremely happy to support both. Thank you to our wonderful audience for attending, all the proceeds from the ticket sales, raffle and refreshements helped to raise this money which will be put to such good use.

We would like to also take the opportunity to thank all our concert staff who help with refreshments, raffle tickets, selling tickets and of course all the setting up and packing away - we couldn't do it without you all!
